Johnston Health
Foundation
Established in 1992, The Johnston Memorial Hospital Foundation is a non-profit organization set up to raise awareness and funds for Johnston Health. The Foundation helps provide quality health care for the people of Johnston County.
Annual fundraising efforts such as the Dr. Hubert Poteat Golf Tournament have provided financial support for the Johnston Cardiac Rehabilitation Services, Johnston Cancer Center, Johnston Medical Center-Clayton and Johnston Medical Center-Smithfield.
Currently, the Foundation is coordinating a county-wide effort to build the SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health. This 18-bed in-patient facility will serve terminally ill patients of Johnston County; the first of its kind in the county.
