Johnston Health Women's Pavilion
Our women's pavilion has five labor/delivery/recovery rooms, two observation rooms, one dedicated OR for Cesarean Sections, sixteen postpartum rooms and seventeen nursery beds.
We provide Family Centered Care, sometimes also called Mother/Baby Care - where one nurse takes care of both the mother and her new infant.
We also have a Lactation program with two Certified Lactation Consultants, Parenting Classes offered through the hospital, and tours for expectant parents.
The Woman's Pavilion has it's own entrance, on the right side of the hospital behind the Medical Arts Building, and all of our patients register here so they don't have to go through the main hospital when being admitted.
Approximately 1400 babies are born at our hospital each year.
