Johnston Memorial Hospital (JMH), a 175-bed facility located in Smithfield, NC, offers the residents of Johnston and surrounding counties quality medical care in a warm, caring and compassionate environment.
Established in 1951, JMH has enjoyed impressive growth. The hospital is close to completing the construction of a Central Energy Plant (CEP), the precursor to building a new 5-story patient tower, which will bring the total bed capacity to 199. Also, JMH is pleased to announce the Certificate of Need (CON) approval for the construction of a new medical facility in Clayton, NC.
JMH reaches out to the community through satellite facilities across the county, including Johnston Family Care Centers, Kenly, NC and McGee's Crossroads, Benson, NC; QuikMed™ Urgent Care Center, Garner, NC, and Summit Surgical & Rehab Services, Clayton, NC.
