Women's Pavilion
 The birth of your baby is a special time and it should happen in a special place. Johnston Memorial Women's Pavilion and birthing suites give you an exceptional way to welcome the newest member of your family.
If you have prepared a birth plan in advance, please share it with us and we will support you in making it happen. Trained professionals will answer all of your questions and take you on a tour of the birthing unit.
Located on the ground floor, the pavilion includes Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms, which offer you the comfort and security of a home-like setting.
While a comfortable setting is important during your labor, the knowledge that you are surrounded by trained staff and modern equipment will make your birthing experience even more rewarding.
Husbands or birthing partners are welcome within the surgical suite to provide the support you need and the Pavilion has a spacious waiting area for family members to feel comfortable.

During your pregnancy, JMH women’s services can help you prepare for birth through a wide range of prenatal education programs including:
- Lamaze
- Sibling classes
- New daddy classes
Our New Mom's class, held before you go home, includes family instruction on bathing, dressing and feeding your infant, safety, health and wellness and help in understanding your baby's emotional and developmental needs.
While the comfortable setting is important during your labor and birth of your baby, the knowledge that you are surrounded by trained staff, modern equipment including central monitoring, will make your birthing experience even more rewarding.
